At the Long Island Media Arts Show—2027, students, artists, and educators come together to explore how AI is transforming both the classroom and the creative process. POSTER CONTEST

Five Towns College invites Long Island high school students to design the official poster for the Long Island Media Arts 2027 being held of Friday, April 2, 2027.

SUMBIT DESIGN

Poster Contest Rules:

This poster contest is open to all Long Island students enrolled in grades 9–12 during the 2026–2027 school year.

Poster Specifications

Poster size must be 17" wide × 22" high
Portrait (vertical) orientation only

Required Design Elements

The poster design must include the following elements. Please download the DESIGN KIT here:

Creative use of the LIMAS 2027 theme: Teaching and Creating in the Age of AI (AI usage rules apply. Download guidelines for more details)
The LIMAS logo and Five Towns College logo (logos may be scaled, but must not be altered or modified in any way)
The required text for the poster (provided in the design kit)

Additional Required Design Elements:

A large open space at the bottom of the poster where additional information and QR code will be added by the LIMAS Committee at a later date

Submissions Requirements:

To be considered, artists must submit two files:

Final Poster Design

All artwork layers must be flattened
Accepted file formats: .PDF or .PNG
Image resolution must be a minimum of 300dpi, with CMYK color mode

Original Background / Asset File

The poster design without any text
This background image may be used for supplemental promotional materials, website graphics, and the conference program
